Abdias Samuel, Chairman of the National COVID-19 Task Force, announced the change at the August 11 briefing by the National Emergency Operations Centre. The latest travel advisory was issued for the United Kingdom, South Africa, Brazil and India on July 20, 2021, which extended the travel ban up until August 31, 2021. During the search on Thursday (August 12, 2021), one (1) Smith and Wesson .40 Pistol was found. Officers routinely include empty lots and abandoned properties in their search operations around the Federation. It regularly results in the seizure of illegal firearms and illicit drugs.
