Basseterre, (8th May, 2026) — The Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis condemns the recent dangerous attacks using drones and missiles on the United Arab Emirates which constitute violation on international law.
We reaffirm our commitment to the principles of international peace, respect for territorial integrity, and the sanctity of human life. Further, we reaffirm the importance of safeguarding maritime security, the preservation of the marine environment, global energy, and international trade.
Saint Kitts and Nevis stands in solidarity with the Government and people of the United Arab Emirates and others who have been negatively affected by the recent attacks.
Saint Kitts and Nevis urges all stakeholders to engage in constructive dialogue that will lead to lasting peace, in the interest of the people and for the benefit of the region. We believe that diplomacy, mutual respect, and adherence to international law remain the only viable path to stability and security.
